The 2021 Grad Night is coming up after graduation this Friday, June 18th. Volunteers are needed for the positions listed below. It is preferable that these be filled by parents of non-seniors. This has been the tradition in the past. If you can volunteer your time to make this a special event for the seniors, it would be greatly appreciated. Without the required chaperones, Grad Night will need to be cancelled as the venues will not let seniors in without chaperones. Due to COVID-19 many colleges are waiving the standardized testing requirement for the upcoming year(s), while others have become test-optional.  For test-optional schools, students may want to include test scores because (1) they believe their ACT  or  SAT score reflects positively on their academic abilities,   (2) the student is seeking a merit scholarship, honors program, or advanced placement that requires test  scores, (3) in unique cases, an ACT or SAT score may fulfill graduation requirements, and (4) a score may be required to meet NCAA Eligibility. This year  Mamma's Hands celebrates our 30th anniversary  of serving homeless individuals and families in our community! Through our emergency shelter, the House of Hope, we offer year-round housing and support services in a safe and compassionate home environment, to women and children experiencing housing instability and domestic violence. Currently serving 100 mothers and children in our Aftercare Program, we are able to provide a continued network of support and eviction prevention resources for up to two years after a family is permanently housed.
